My last couch was given to me in the late 90’s by a friend of mine, and I recently donated it to another friend.
I’d been talking lately about getting a new couch, but I know it probably wouldn’t happen unless I got rid of the then current one. Well, it got picked up mid last week, and on Friday, Bea and I went couch shopping.
Here’s the one that I (we) picked:

The color is billed as Olive, but depending on the angle, it can look brown(ish) which I like – it’s adaptive. I/Bea/the roommate/Diamond (a derby ref) all like it. Hooray for buying furniture.
I (we) salute your taste! After undergoing a similar give-away-then-replace process last year, Dave and I selected almost exactly the same model, microfibre fabric, AND colour. The only difference is that ours only had the right-hand-arm and the rest was sectionals (since we have such a small living room to jam it in).
I’m glad this couch meets everyone’s approval!
