Non Central Standard

Yes, I’m going to be That Guy™. No, not the one that wears the t-shirt of the band he’s about to see, but the one that posts up song lyrics.
No, I’m not being overly melodramatic, but I really like this song, and, well, empathize with Luke here. It’s kinda also been a “theme song” in my head for a while too.
Just wanted to share.

Pacific Coast Time by The Happy Talk Band:

Would you light me a candle?
Could you say me a prayer?
I wish miss your wild nightmares,
Your 100-yard stare.

Well, I heard your found shelter
In another man’s arms.
Will he ward off the demons
Who will do you such harm?

Would you give me a sign, dear?
A ring I could wear?
I wish I could kiss you now.
I wish you still cared.

And I heard you don’t love me
The way you once did.
Threw my phone in the river
Beneath the Huey Long Bridge.

Well I was drowning
The night that I met you.
Will you forgive me
When I forget you?

In my dreams you are kneeling.
To whom do you pray?
How can I hold you
When you’re five states away?

Five states away my love, my love.
Could you mail me mind?
I’m stuck here on Central,
You’re on Pacific Coast Time.
(x2)

Well if you hurt me,
I guess that I let you.
I’ll forgive you
When I forget you.

The lyrics should be 3 states away and the title Eastern Edge of Central Time, but that title doesn’t quite flow as well.
Eh. What can ya do?
