Well, I have listened to the new Metallica album: Death Magnetic. And it is good (or at least a gargantuan improvement). It would appear that they have made a complete 180° from The Thing That Should Not Be (aka St. Anger).
My friend Paul had this to say though and I must admit I agree:
I saw the video for what should have been called “Two”
And to provide a degree of regularity to this moment of metal, I submit unto this, a balance of the two:
I am very seriously considering snagging a ticket to see them play here in November with Down and The Sword.

Tonight, I’ll be co-haring with Mikey, I mean Tandy Ass™ in Lakeview with the VooDoo Hash House Harriers.
If you like beer, running, middle-school-humor, beer, and beer, then come on out! The trail is just over 4 miles ( more if you get lost / thrown off course ;) ).
We’ll be meeting up at the now defunct Plantation Coffeehouse at Hidalgo and Canal Blvd. I believe we (the hares) take off running at 7:00, so please show up before then.
