I’m just sitting here, starving at the airport. But since I’m stuck here for a bit, I thought I’d hop online (through my phone – woo!), and give you a piece of Delta advice.
If you show up and there is a long line at the ticket counter, simply walk up to the self-serve terminal doohickey, and swipe a card (assuming you don’t have the card that bought the tickets). The system will not find you, and ask you to get one of the self-serve helpers.
Interesting sidenote – you can also swipe your driver’s license.
There was one immediately available, and I showed her my error. She hit up her terminal, after I gave her my flight number, and got me going. Instead of waiting in line for what looked like 30-45 minutes, I spent less than 5.
