So, good news:
My new Digital Camera came in today!
Firefox 1.5 was released!
NOLA CBD/DDD Free Wi-Fi! Jonah is worried about what kind of fiscal effect this will have on his company, but I think he’s overly concerned.
At it’s current speed of 512 kb/s, and the future speed of 144kb/s, there is no way that this will replace residential/business speeds of multi-megabit per second rates.
This is just a mesh to extent to streetcorners, parks, and benches.
I love the idea, myself, and am glad to see these kind of things happening.
