Oh, the Beemanity!

I ran across a video of about 30 Giant Hornets slaughtering about 30,000 bees today.

The ruthless effiency, the sheer calculating brutality of this footage is awe-inspiring.
This is so ninja.

So, you can watch the video as is, or try my method.

Note: This method is not for those who dislike Cookie-Monster style death metal.
Would you at least try it though? The first minute plus is non-vocal.

For the best effect, dim the lights and play at a decent volume with decent bass.
Play Nile – Ramses, Bringer of War at a decent volume. ( Mirrors: 1 2 3 )
After 17 seconds, play the video, muted.

Behold, the destructive force of nature.
And please, no comments about the poor bees. It’s not like they were squished by humans.

MMMMMMMMMM

No, I’m not hungry. Wait, yes. Yes I am.
But this isn’t about food.

The Roman Numeral for 10,000 is an X with a horizontal line above it, but as it turns out, there is no web character for that.
But what about a CSS hack? Let’s try this:
<span style="text-decoration: overline;">X</span>
The Result? – X
Whee! I’m still not going to change the title though.

Anyways, today marked an occasion, a retirement.
I’m hanging up my CPUs. All these spare cycles will now go wasted.

I know I have talked about the SETI@Home project before. It’s some cool stuff. And by cool, I mean really dorky. And hey, dork is the new black, right? Or is it still pink?
Nah. The new black is Dark-Sided! Heh. I so need help.

Anyways, today I completed my 10,000th workunit.
