Oh, and i just got my eviction notice.
I have two days.
I have lived here for nearly five years, without any complaints.
The letter was mailed Sept. 16th. You know, when nobody was allowed in the city, because it was all underwater, and toxic and everything.
Tomorrow, I talk to my lawyer, and the rental management people.

I just snapped some photos with my webcam, I wanted to share them with you.
Jerry is my upstairs neighbor. Coincidentally, when I was a kid, my father, sister, and I would go to get beignets first thing every Sunday morning.
Jerry was our waiter. Every Sunday for years, he knew what we wanted.
As of late, Jerry hasn’t been doing so well. His teeth are falling out, his liver isn’t doing so well (he is waiting for a transplant), he is in generally poor health, and it is deteriorating.
As far as I know, Jerry was airlifted out. Haven’t really heard anything concrete.

I got home roughly twelve hours ago.
For the most part, I’ve been out seeing friends, having drinks, and doing both at the same time.
Hot damn, it’s good to be home.
And for my next trick … work in the morning!
